Monsoon

Founded in 1994, The Monsoon Trust’s primary objective is to provide and support educational opportunities for children, young people and women in India.Believing that every child has a right to education and the opportunities for a better future, two of the Trust’s main beneficiaries are the Bal Vihar School for underprivileged children (part of the VIDYA organisation) in Delhi and the Monsoon Anubodh School for deaf and mute children in Jaipur. The Monsoon Trust covers the general running costs of Bal Vihar, and assists on other projects where possible, most recently with the micro-enterprise scheme, assiting women in taking the first steps to empower themselves through development of their own ( www.monsoon.co.uk )
