KPFK is one of the most important progressive media outlets in Southern California and I want to contribute to its success. As a professor, labor union leader, grassroots activist, writer, and researcher, my skills in communication, organizing, and education will enable me to work efficiently and collectively with other Local Station Board members, the community, and the Pacifica Foundation to promote the mission of Pacifica. How do you envision the Local Station Board working with the Pacifica Foundation KPFK and the community? KPFK is a mine of information and inspiration that is underutilized by many of our brothers and sisters in Southern ( www.kpfk.org )
