Supreme Office Products Limited was born out of necessity. On Thursday December 5, 1974 Edmund Bosche, who was the Branch Manager of Lewis Stationery in Regina, was informed that the Calgary based company was consolidating its holdings and closing the Regina branch. He and his 14 employees would soon be out of work. For Ed, who had been working for Lewis Stationery since it opened in Regina in 1956 and had been Branch Manager since 1958, the announcement was a moment of decision. He could either move to Calgary with the company or stay at home in Regina. There were also the Regina employees to consider and a lot of loyal customers. Ed Bosche had often thought about running his own business. He had been on his own for the most part anyway during his years as manager of Lewis Stationery.
